Jordan Harris debuts for Boston

The Boston Bruins will host the Buffalo Sabres at TD Garden on Saturday night, as the Black an Gold look to win their third-straight game to begin the 2025-26 season.

The Bruins have silenced some of their critics by winning their first two games of the season, but with there will be a significant difference in the lineup for Boston agains Buffal0 — Jordan Harris will slot in for the injured Hampus Lindholm on defense.

Lindholm left the B’s game against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night with an undisclosed lower-body injury. Bruins head coach Marco Sturm told reporters Saturday morning that Lindholm is “day-to-day” and expects the defenseman back on the ice Sunday, per team multimedia reporter Belle Fraser.

The Sabres are coming off an opening night defeat against the New York Rangers. Buffalo was shut out 4-0 in their own building by New York, and look to bounce back by handing Boston its first loss of the season.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on NESN and 98.5 The Sports Hub.
